First, I have to say, while the games played at Riverside Friday night were great, the awesome (FRIENDLY!) banter back and forth between the student section was really awesome! It was really nice seeing them just having fun, laughing and no bad attitudes. Both student sections win for this!
On the court, the Lady Generals & Lady Warriors exhorted their last ounce of sportsmanship on hardwood, with the Lady Warriors squeaking out the dub in the 1:30 of the game. Well done on both teams, and a special shout out to Morgan Thoennes for getting the ball un-stuck from the goal! ? ?
After a short break for a medical emergency (I’m told the woman that fell in the stands is OK! ?), the Warriors started off by getting on the board first, but quickly fell behind the Generals, who held the lead for the remainder of the game.
